DoL Launches Site for Feedback on Regulations
As part of its efforts to comply with the President’s executive
order for agencies to find ways to reduce regulatory burden, the
U.S. Department of Labor has launched a Web site to collect feedback.
Reported by PLANADVISER staff
The Department published its Preliminary Plan for Retrospective Analysis of Existing Rules in May, which identifies regulations being proposed or reviewed by various DoL agencies. The Web site asks for input on that preliminary plan.
The DoL said those submitting a new idea should provide as much detail as possible and include empirical evidence and data to support the idea, whenever possible.
Those visiting the site can also vote for or against another submitter’s idea.
